Charged the A/C tonight. Got the air down to 55-ish degrees.
However, the compressor sounds like a small airplane. It's not long for this world, I'm afraid. A new one will set me back $160.00, plus a few other parts. Sigh. I'll probably just deal with lack of A/C considering I've only put 2,000 miles on it since April 2015.

Remember - 240K is the distance to the moon. You need to get there.

Most I’ve ever put on a car myself was ‘87 300D - got to 110K. Had to sell it because I was preparing to go to law school. Another shit decision!

I've put 150,000 on a 98 accord, but a lot of that was my mother as it was her car before I got it as a first car.

Still - get that Japanese POS to 240K and claim it all for yourself. To the moon Alice! And back!
If you get the reference, you get double points.

Get a used compressor from LKQ or the like.
The older I get the more I appreciate A/C. Crusty (95 F150) can still kick out 35* air on an 80*day.

As long as have things sorted - and the reference was The Honeymooners, Jackie Gleason. 60s US teevee. Jackie was the greatest.
